48話OMG, Kyoto used to have a massive lake?! 🌊✨ The lost VIBE of Ogura Pond.

Y’all, listen… I’m currently writing Ep. 2 of my story, and I’m lowkey crying over how beautiful Kyoto used to be. 😭 So, my main character is walking from Nagaoka Tenmangu toward this place called Ogura Pond. Back in the day, if you went south from Rashomon, you’d see this insane view—massive water, reeds waving in the wind… just pure, untouched nature. It was actually one of the "Four Gods" (Suzaku!) protecting Kyoto’s Feng Shui. Like, a literal spiritual shield for the city. 🛡️✨ But now? It’s gone. Totally drained. All that’s left is big highways, noisy roads, and just... empty farmland. The air feels heavy and stuck because the natural "cleansing system" is broken. It honestly breaks my heart. 💔 People are trying to bring it back, but the scale is like 1/200 of the original. That’s not a comeback, that’s just a puddle. If we kept even 25% of it, it would’ve been the sickest tourist spot ever. I feel like since we destroyed this spiritual spot, bad vibes (you k...

44Guess what? The Universe just TROLLING me hard lol

A scene of freshwater fishing at the now-defunct Ogura Pond. OMG, listen up! You won’t believe the drama I just had with "The Universe." 🙄✨ So, I was doing some deep digging into this mysterious place called Ogura-ike (a legendary vanished lake in Kyoto). I was looking for the "Forbidden Pond" and asked my AI to give me some options. It gave me two spots: Imoarai (Uji River) and Akai (Katsura River). Usually, when a place gathers bad vibes or "energetic gunk," people build a shrine to keep things chill. So I checked, and yep—there’s Ooike Shrine at one spot and Yodo Shrine at the other. I was like, "Okay, which one should I visit?" Since I’m still dealing with some post-illness stuff, I asked the AI for the easiest one to get to by train. But for some reason, the AI kept pushing Ooike Shrine... even though it's WAY further from the station! 🚶‍♀️💦 I was like, "Wait a sec... this is a setup, isn't it?!" The "Higher-Ups...

42話Guess what? My AI went rogue lol (Search for the Forbidden Pond)

"POV: You just stepped outside Rashomon Gate in the Heian period. Basically, it’s a monster party out here. 👹🔥 Would you dare to enter?" 。。。。。。。 Hey guys! Listen to this... So, I’m still working on Episode 42: "The Kagami-ike Pond - Beyond the Water District." And honestly? Finding the real-life model for this pond is a total pain in the butt. I was waiting for some "divine vision" from a higher dimension to hit me, but nothing came down. So, I had to take matters into my own hands. But then, a HUGE problem popped up. I asked an AI to translate the end of Episode 1, where the main character heads to the pond... and the AI totally went extra. It decided on its own that this pond is a "Forbidden Zone" (Kinsokuchi) where no human dares to go! I mean, I'm glad the AI is so into my story, but like... staaaaap! You’re just giving me more homework! Now I have to find a model for a pond and make it look like a forbidden, creepy place? Ugh. But thi...

41Scouting for my story in Kyoto (Total Plot Twist!) 🕵️‍♂️✨

Listen up, everyone! 🔊 I'm going to interrupt my previous work on the near-future cyberpunk sci-fi battle action story concept and immerse myself in Episode 2, "Beyond the Water Village," especially the "Mirror Pond" scene. 💧✨ But actually, I've completely hit a wall. No inspiration, no vision, nothing! So, I decided to take a chance and go to Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto. That's exactly where this story takes place. ⛩️🏃‍♂️ I visited in May, so the famous vibrant red Kirishima azaleas had already fallen (what a shame! 😭). But I couldn't help but imagine how beautiful it must have been when they were in full bloom. 🌸 My main objective? To find a pond like the "Mirror Pond" in the story. And I was truly surprised. There were ponds literally everywhere! 🤯💦 Right near the entrance to the shrine, there's a large pond surrounding an azalea path. And just past the path, below the main garden, there's another lovely little pond. ...
